I have an HD4850 and it runs quite hot at stock fan speeds. It's actually okay above 65...just not great for it. If it gets above 80 or so, then you should probably shut down and let it cool off a bit. You may need to add a fan or two to your case to help with airflow. Many cases (even OEM cases) have space for an additional fan. Though there are probably just as many OEM cases that don't. Yes it will increase the heat.
